Refund policy

You receive an automatic refund when:

• You cancel a class more than 12 hours before it starts.
• Your tutor cancels the class for any reason.
• Your tutor doesn't show up for the class.
• Your booking fails because a slot became unavailable during checkout.

In all of these cases, the refund processes to your original payment method within 3 to 5 business days. If you paid with credit or a package, the credit returns to your account instantly.

Some situations require you to contact support. Refunds by request include:

• A tutor can no longer continue with you and you had classes scheduled with them. In these cases, your future scheduled classes are canceled, but refunds are not automatic. Reach out and we'll review the situation.
• A class happened but there was a serious technical issue (Google Meet failure on our end, Nimodo unavailable during your class window). We'll look at what happened and refund appropriately.
• You believe you were charged in error.

Once a trial class has happened, it isn't refundable. Trials are how you meet a tutor, so we treat them as a completed exchange even if you didn't love the fit. If your trial class was interrupted or something went wrong, contact us.

Unused package credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase if you haven't taken any classes from the package yet. If you've taken at least one class, unused credits stay in your account as flexible credit and can be used with any tutor.

Automatic refunds process within 3 to 5 business days. Refunds by request are reviewed within 24 hours and process within 5 business days after approval.
